ONLINE CHECK-IN NOW AVAILABLE AT ALL RED PLANET HOTELS

BANGKOK – Red Planet Hotels announced today that it is rolling out its online check-in service to all hotels. The new functionality allows guests to conveniently check in to their hotel while on the move and ensures their preferred room will be ready upon arrival. Online check-in is exclusive to Red Planet’s loyalty programme members making a reservation directly on redplanethotels.com and the Red Planet mobile app.

“More than half of our guests book directly on their devices, which makes online check-in a desired feature and a natural fit for our mobile app users,” said Tim Hansing, Red Planet’s CEO. “We’re constantly innovating and adding new features that allow guests to interact with our hotels and receive more personalised travel experiences.”

As with airlines, Red Planet’s online check-in is available 24 hours in advance. Upon receiving an email invitation or in-app notification, a guest is guided through an intuitive check-in process on any web-enabled device. Additionally, guests are able to choose room preferences, including the location of the room and indicate their estimated time of arrival. The online check-in process takes less than two minutes, with guests only having to pick up their keycards at the front desk upon arrival at the hotel.

Red Planet’s loyalty programme members will be able to check in online as of today at all Red Planet hotels across Asia.
