IT Support Specialist
Role requirements:
- At least four years of IT support experience operating in a diverse environment.
- In-depth and persistent learning up to date knowledge of best practices in IT administration, including network and systems security.
- Solid understanding of and hands-on experience in computing operating systems such as Windows, macOS, Linux distributions, Android, and iOS.
- Solid understanding of and hands-on experience in server environments such as on-premises, cloud, hybrid, and virtualization.
- Solid understanding of and hands-on experience in network environments such as WAN, LAN, WLAN, particularly Wi-Fi, switching, and security.
- Analytical skills to study problems and identify and record solutions. Research and documentation skills.
- Flexibility to support non-office hours in case of an impacting downtime and the ability to provide remote or on-site (travel) troubleshooting when needed.
- Confident interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively across organisation levels.
- Excellent in Thai and English verbal and written communication skills.
Job Description:
- Handles tiers 1 and 2 IT support concerns through the helpdesk system or via phone, email, and in-person
- Tier 1:
- Installs, configures, maintains, and supports computing systems, including but not limited to laptops, desktops, mobile phones, printers, user accounts, email, and standard applications.
- Manages and monitors internal assets to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Tier 2:
- Installs, configures, maintains, and supports server and network systems.
- Installs, configures, maintains, and supports server and network systems.
- Coordinates with ISP for internet issues.
- Maintains and supports the IT Infrastructure standards and security.
- Keeps track of network and systems health and performance.
- Documents helpful information such as lessons learned or any process improvement.
- Tier 1:
- Helps in processing IT purchases.
- Be creative and bring studies to improve the efficiency and reliability of IT systems.
